EDUCATION:
I am a graduate of the University of Vermont where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.  While at UVM I was very active with the Cycling Club (I taught a cycling Phys Ed class), Skiing Club, and became a Wilderness First Responder.  My UVM Business School eduction has taught me many valuable lessons including project management, how to quickly adapt to any given situation, how to be a goal orientated leader, and most importantly my UVM education taught me to never stop learning.

REAL ESTATE BACKGROUND:
I have been specializing in real estate in Truckee, North Lake Tahoe, West Shore communities, as well as the ski resort communities known as Alpine Meadows, Squaw Valley, and Northstar since 2003.  I started my career as a real estate appraiser and began my transition into sales in 2007.  My numerous years of appraisal practice have taught me many valuable lessons that my clients appreciate greatly. I'm an analytical thinker and have vast experience seeing where the markets have been and where they are going. This allows me to help clients price their properties effectively and helps buyers get the best deal possible. My appraisal background also gives me great insight into the quality of homes, features that set homes apart from one another, and the ability to help my clients find the best opportunities possible.  I am also fortunate to work for a company (Tahoe Riverfront Realty, Inc.) that is one of the oldest Brokerages in the Tahoe basin and gives me the ability to utilize their 30+ years of experience.

EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES:
When I am not working you will find me playing in the mountains on skis or on my bike depending on the season.  I have a passion for the outdoors and I do my best to get outside and enjoy Tahoe on a daily basis.  I'm also a firm believer in giving back to the community and in 2009 I was fortunate to start working with a 501c.3 non-profit called SkiDUCK where I became responsible for leading all Squaw Valley USA events.  SkiDUCK is a brand new national non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of disabled and underprivileged children by sharing the joys of skiing and snowboarding.  I am very passionate about skiing and SkiDUCK allows me to share my passion of skiing with kids that might not otherwise have a chance to enjoy the sport I love. 

In 2010 I was invited to join the SkiDUCK Board of Directors and took the title of  Director of N. Lake Tahoe Events.  At SkiDUCK I work with different Youth Groups, Tahoe area ski resorts, and volunteers to make sure that every kid that wants to ski/snowboard has a chance to get out on the slopes and enjoy the benefits/freedoms of skiing/snowboarding. Our motto is: "Kids in Need Shred For Free". In addition to my Board responsibilities I also lead all Squaw Valley events, act as a contact for youth groups, get businesses and individuals involved with the program and do whatever it takes to ensure the success of this amazing organization.
