Squaw Valley’s Swimming Lagoon and Spa Open March 20th!

March 17, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

>I don’t know if life gets any better than skiing all morning at one of the most beautiful resorts in the country and then heading over to High Camp for a soak in there 25′ diameter Spa while sipping on a tasty drink!  At Squaw Valley USA this is reality and it is coming soon on March 20th.

Squaw Valley High Camp Lagoon and Spa “Located at High Camp, el. 8200′, the lagoon and spa are surrounded by the free-form lagoon features 25 meter lap lanes and two islands landscaped with waterfalls and native boulders. The 25′ diameter spa is heated to 102 degrees and surrounded by expansive decks and a casual umbrella bar. The Bath and Tennis Club provides lockers, showers, and changing rooms, along with towel rentals. Cost: $12 all ages. Includes locker rental, towel, sunscreen, shampoo and hair dyer.”

Many skiers and riders will wear their bathing suits under there ski pants so they can strip down and hop in the tub for a soak before skiing down at the end of the day.  I cant think of any other resorts that offer this kind of easy living and good times.  Although the Spa can get crowded it is a great place to hang out, meet up with friends, and people watch.  For more information about Squaw Valley and the lagoon please visit: http://www.squaw.com/swimming-lagoon-and-spa

I don’t know about you but this news is making me excited for the spring and Squaw Valley USA is the spring skiing capital of the US!  Come have fun and enjoy all Tahoe has to offer!

Best regards, Dave
