Where: Commons Beach, Tahoe City

Get ready to enjoy the 77th Tahoe City Fireworks Display on the 4th of July!! Enjoy festivites throughout town including a family-friendly fun zone at Heritage Plaza; live music & entertainment throughout town; 4th of July t-shirts for sale at Heritage Plaza and in front of the Old Fire Station; free shuttle service from 4 p.m. to midnight; and a dazzling fireworks display at 9:30 p.m. off Commons Beach. Fireman’s Pancake Breakfast
Where: Truckee Fire Department
When: July 4th, 7am – 10am
Join the Truckee Firefighters Charitable Fund to raise money during the Fourth of July Pancake Breakfast. It’s a true Truckee Local experience where the community gathers to celebrate and support our local firefighters over coffee and pancakes. Donations benefit the Truckee Firefighters Charitable Fund (TFCF) which provides scholarships to Truckee High School students who will pursue fire suppression or emergency medicine. More Information
Truckee 4th of July Parade
Where: Downtown Truckee
When: 4th of July, 10am – 1pm
If you’re looking for the quintessential display of small-town Americana, the Truckee 4th of July Parade is where it’s at. Crowds line the streets from the Truckee Firehouse (next to Wild Cherries) all the way to historic downtown Truckee. Catch the best float performances in historic downtown Truckee where many floats put on a special show for the Judge. The parade begins at 10 am. More Information

11th Annual Keep Tahoe Red, White and Blue Beach Cleanup
Where: Kings Beach & Commons Beach
When: July 5, 2025
After Tahoe’s celebrated July 4th festivities, our beaches and surrounding areas can become covered with trash, endangering wildlife and the Lake’s clarity. Each year on July 5th, Tahoe residents and visitors turn out for the largest cleanup of the year to remove litter from Lake Tahoe’s shores. You can help Keep Tahoe Blue by volunteering at a beach cleanup sites around the Lake! More Information
