There is a lot going on around the region during this festive time of year, see our comprehensive list below of the top North Lake Tahoe holiday events and mark your calendars accordingly!

Downtown Holiday Festival and Bud Fish Tree Lighting

Celebrate the Holidays in Historic Downtown Truckee! Enjoy a festive kick-off to the holidays with tree decorating, hot cocoa, holiday songs, photos with Santa and much more! The night culminates in the lighting of the traditional Bud Fish Tree Lighting Ceremony in remembrance of this beloved Truckee community member. More Information
Magical Memories at the Resort at Everline Resort

Light Up The Night

Welcome to winter with the magic and merriment of Light Up the Night. Join your neighbors and friends for Tahoe Donner’s annual tree lighting ceremony, featuring a kids craft station, hot cocoa, beer and wine, holiday inspired cocktails, a very special visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus and more! Tahoe Truckee Waldorf Winter Faire

Head to Haskatasun for a day of making magical memories! Step into the enchantment of the Winter Faire, where children and families gather to celebrate the season through joyful activities, handcrafted beauty, and heartwarming community connections. Children can create handmade gifts in the magical Tomten Workshop and enjoy festive activities like wreath-making, puppet shows, live music, and seasonal adventures with characters such as the Snow Queen and King Winter. Guests can also explore the cookie and gift shop, savor warming soups and treats, and join in the raffle. Admission is free, with tickets required for activities and workshops. More Information
Farmers + Makers Holiday Block Party
Where: Truckee Tahoe Airport’s Nonprofit Row
When: December 11th, 4:30 – 8:30pm
Celebrate the holidays with local farmers and makers! Bounce between Truckee Roundhouse, Tahoe Food Hub and Sierra Community House for a non-profit holiday market. Enjoy music, food, and drink while getting to buy organic produce, specialty foods, and local crafts. Meet the folks who grow our food and make the goods. Drinks and food are available for purchase. Funds raised will benefit the programs of all three non-profits. More Information
