2015 Theme: IT’S SNOW-MUCH FUN!

Every spring since 1982, SnowFest! has delivered 10 fun-filled days and nights to the North Lake Tahoe communities. This year, it’s all about SNOW! Pray, think, or dance for snow – we need it! Participants can enjoy events both on and off the mountain every day from February 27th – March 8th, at North Tahoe’s numerous resorts and vibrant lakeside neighborhoods.

	Garwoods Polar Bear Swim When: Sat, February 28, 2:30pm – 5:00pm Where: Garwoods Grill & Pier – 5000 N. Lake Blvd. Description: The 26th Annual Polar Bear Swim will be North Lake Tahoe’s “Coolest” event! Hundreds of spectators will line the pier to watch hardy souls brave the frigid waters of Lake Tahoe. Complimentary appetizers are provided for all, and following the event is the hugely popular raffle in the bar at Gar Woods. Swim participants can also enjoy the hot tubs provided by Pomin’s Hot Tubs. Swimmers can register ahead at www.Garwoods.com.
	Tahoe City SnowFest! Parade When: Sat, February 28, 11:30am – 12:30pm Where: Downtown Tahoe City Description: This fun, eclectic, mountain town feeling parade has something for everyone! From shovelers to clowns, dogs, kids and snow machines… it’s definitely a fun, and rowdy day in Tahoe City.
	SnowFest! Dawg Pull When: Sun, March 1, 11:00am – 1:30pm Where: Tahoe City Golf Course Description: Calling ALL Dogs! Enjoy family-friendly racing for dogs of all ages and sizes. There will be treats for all competitors and prizes for winners. Dogs of all sizes will pull a weighted sled across the snow (or grass) to take home the championship in their category.
	Truckee River Winery Wine & Ice Competition When: Wed, March 4, 1pm – 7pm Where: Truckee River Winery Tasting Room Description: Truckee River Winery’s 4th Annual Ice Carving Competition invites local professionals to transform large blocks of ice into works of art. Listen to the beats of DJ Chango and enjoy some winter fun.
	7th Annual Bridgetender Rib Fest When: Fri, March 6, 5pm – 8pm Where: Bridgetender, Tahoe City Description: Enjoy the delicious ribs at the Bridgetender at the 7th Annual Rib Fest! The outdoor patio and bar will be serving up delicious BBQd ribs from 5 pm on.
