Oliver Luxury Real Estate in Tahoe City is now an official Tesla Destination Charging Station! Tesla owners can plug in and power up. Oliver Luxury Real Estate worked directly with Tesla Motors to bring these charging stations to the North Shore of Lake Tahoe. We are very excited to be able to offer this service to Tesla owners. The installation of electric vehicle charging stations shows Oliver Lux’s commitment to the environment as well as to the North Lake Tahoe community and the environmentally conscious visitors to this majestic region.
Today I had the pleasure of meeting Travis Johnson, the Director of Utility Planning and Business Development at Liberty Utilities. He tested our new Tesla Destination Charging Station with his Model S. Travis is in charge of implementing the California Renewable Portfolio Standards (RPS) which mandates that energy utilities such as Liberty Utilities create 33% of their energy through renewable sources by 2020. While charging his Tesla, Travis was able to discuss the key features of this amazing electric vehicle and he even offered to let me take the car for a test drive! While driving the Tesla Model S, I was blown away by the acceleration and overall smooth ride this futuristic vehicle provided. If you have the chance, make sure to test drive a Tesla as you will not be disappointed.
