As of this morning, Verizon Wireless has updated their Alpine Meadows towers to the 4G LTE network allowing for blazing hot data connections! I have been waiting for this update for quite some time due to the fact that the Alpine Meadows neighborhood suffers from a lack of ISP’s to get me on the interwebs at a reasonable speed. Now those using Verizon MiFi cards or 4G LTE phones/tablets are going to be experiencing the fastest download speeds available.
Here is a screenshot I took from my Motorola Droid Razr this morning showing downloads of just over 16 MB and uploads of 19 MB!
It would appear that the Alpine Meadows neighborhood is entering the 21st century and now we have access to some amazing technology that will allow users to be more productive and make the most out of their 4G LTE devices. I have been waiting for this day for a long time and I couldn’t be happier, Thanks Verizon!
